Know the rule changes before they cost you.

Arizona rewrites the ESA handbook every summer, courts can change documentation rules overnight, and four receipt deadlines hide in the calendar. ESA Watch is a free, short email — only when something that affects your wallet actually moves.

You're in. We'll email you when a rule moves. ✓

What we watch for you

The new handbook, every July 1

The State Board adopts a new ESA Parent Handbook each year. Categories move, documentation rules change, and last year's safe purchase can become this year's repayment letter. We read every line and tell you only what changed.

The supplemental-materials lawsuit

A case pending in Arizona Superior Court could require curriculum documentation for every supplemental purchase — even Tier 1 items like books, art supplies, and educational apps. If it lands, you'll know the same week.

The four deadlines that trigger repayment

Debit-card receipts are due Oct 31, Jan 31, Apr 30, and Jul 31 — and miss one, and the state can require you to repay every undocumented dollar, audit or no audit. We remind you while there's still time to act.

Quiet policy updates

ADE updates allowable-item guidance and debit-card merchant rules between handbooks, with no announcement most parents ever see. We check so you don't have to.
