Are art supplies an ESA-eligible expense in Arizona

Paint, brushes, canvas, clay, colored pencils, and crayons are Tier 1 general supplemental material — allowable with no curriculum document. The handbook treats them as core educational supplies, so there's no paperwork to attach beyond the receipt itself.

The mistake families make

"No documentation" means no curriculum doc — it does not mean no record. A craft-store receipt missing the vendor's address or itemized lines, or a screenshot in place of an itemized receipt, gets the upload rejected even though the items are obviously fine. The quieter miss: supplies bought with no subject attached don't help your five-subject renewal math.
