Home / Can I buy…? / Sports league or sports camp enrollment
Is sports league or sports camp enrollment ESA eligible in Arizona?
Yes, with paperwork. Sports league or sports camp enrollment is supplemental material that requires curriculum documentation under the SY2025-26 handbook. Travel, overnight accommodations, and food are NOT allowable.
Conditions that decide it
- Travel, overnight accommodations, and food are NOT allowable
What the curriculum document must include
- the student's name
- the course of study / subject
- the learning objectives
- the teaching method, with lesson plans or activities
- the required materials within the scope and sequence (this item among them)
The receipt still has to be complete
A yes on allowability doesn't survive an incomplete receipt. Every receipt needs the vendor's name, address, and contact; the date; a receipt or order number; an itemized description; and the itemized and total amounts. Missing any field can get the expense rejected — and undocumented debit-card purchases past the quarterly deadline must be repaid.
